We had had a call from David Rogers earlier in the week saying he was over here from Nairobi for a couple of weeks, staying in his house in Karaman, so we had invited him down for a late lunch today. This meant that we could go to church, catch up with a few things and get back in time to roast the chicken and cook the veg so that we could all still eat outside in the fresh air whilst we have the chance.

The temperature here remains into the 70s during the daytime, but now that we are approaching the end of October the sun is beginning to go down behind the mountains much sooner and then it gets quite chilly very quickly.

A very enjoyable way to spend some time and it resulted in Joan and I getting an instruction to book a table at Blue Song for next Saturday, David's treat.
