This weeks nosh group decided to go to the Mandarin, the Oriental restaurant opposite Ileli Supermarket. There were only four of us as Anne was off to a Readers training session and Charles & Yvonne apparantly have visitors. Joan and I really like this restaurant as it is totally different to the TRNC standards of lamb chops, kebabs in varying shapes and styles. Shiela had never been here before so we were interested to see her response.

The problem with David's specials board is that we are always tempted to have a starter and Shiela and I chose the Tempura Prawns, whilst Joan and Barbara went for the Fishcakes, made with haddock. We all followed this with what was called Crispy Fish served with egg fried rice, and have to say that it went down very well with us all. Shiela saying it was one of the nicest meals she had had for a long time. We think that this is because it is just so different. So pleased that everyone enjoyed and we would certainly recommend this restaurant to you all.
