Anne & Pat are back from their trip to Jerusalem which was with Bishop Michael and a number of church people. They say that they had a great time with an absolutely superb guide to help them on their journey.

Now that they are back the gang decided to give the newly re-opened Blue Door restaurant in Alsancak a try. This place is a lovely traditional stone built house converted some time ago into a restaurant, but closed down again after less than 1 year of operation. Now Lydia, who together with her husband Ibo own the "Cafe-Cafe" here in Lapta have decided to take it on. She does not have a big sophisticated A-La Carte menu but is relying initially on simple home cooked quality food so you only find what is available when you turn up. Have to say that the place was quite crowded, with many whom we know, and everybody is saying the same, lovely food and a nice atmosphere, lets hope she has got it right and manages to keep going because the quality and price were just great.
