I went off to church on my own this morning because our tree felling guy was due back this morning to split a few more logs up to go into store for next winter. We both felt that one of us should be there in case he started to chuck unwanted branches into the ravine. The locals don't seem to consider this to be a problem and trying to explain that filling the ravine, which is there to take away excess rainwater is a problem.

Anyway we have a skip from the local council so that is the only correct way to get rid of excess rubbish. It is great that we have managed to get somebody to clear all the overhanging branches from these huge pine trees and it must have given us at least a ton of logs as our starter for next year.
