Blimey, entering the date made me realise that we are almost half way through the year already. Joan, Norman and I called in to the Deli Cafe this morning on our way to take things into the hospital for Sigga, a bit of a lazy breakfast as it is a busy day. After the hospital visit the tree of us crossed th border and called in to a couple of supermarkets on our way to Larnaca airport. We were actually in plenty of time to drop Norman off and clearly he was sad to be leaving, particularily as the weather has really started to warm up now.

We are getting temperatures of 80 degrees F (that's 27 C in old money) on the front terrace, which has shade over the top, by 8 am and of course as usual the humidity is building.

After we had dropped Norman off, Joan and I came back to the Cyprus Mall, as she had spotted an advert that said that her favourite shoe shop had a 30% discount offer this week. She was lucky and found a nice pair of summer sandal type shoes that she liked, at a reasonable price.  So she is a happy bunny again.

Once we had crossed back over the border we realised that we were very near to the Kolan Hospital, were Barbara Smith currently is, so we went for another hospital visit. Whilst we were in there, Charles and Yvonne turned up also, so Barbara was inundated wth visitors.

We were eventually home by around 6 pm so had a lazy evening eating a light snack at home.
