Yesterday we had skipped church again and had lunch with Sally and David at The Sea Point here on the Lapta strip. We managed to drag the lunch out, aided by a couple of extra beers to around 4 p.m. and very enjoyable it was too.

The Sea Point has re-opened for the summer season after some extensive refurbishment which includes a new roof section over the bar area and about 50 % of the seating area, so maybe the plan is to stay open this winter. Hope so as it will be good to have an extra restaurant up our sleeves, because we all agreed that the food quality was good.

At 5 pm Shane and I had the final meet with the church auditors and I should get a call early next week to sign off the accounts.
