Joan and I only just got to church by the skin of our teeth this morning. Bono decided to climb on the roof, along the guttering, we think looking for birds and then to try to get down via the water tower and the outside kitchen windowsill. Stupid cat, luckily we were around to slide the fly screen and let him in that way. I'm convinced that cats have no brains and no fear, but Joan was petrified that he would fall.

The weather is obviosly taking it's toll as the church was not very full today, 35 degree heat with associated humidity makes for uncomfortable sitting indoors. However at my suggestion, Anne, Pat, Joan and I transfered to The Seapoint restaurant here on the Lapta strip and sat in a very pleasant sea breeze and enjoyed an excellent lunch and a few G&Ts to while away the afternoon. The Seapoint is one of the best rstaurants on the strip with great quality and keen prices.
