Today is our 36th Wedding Anniversary so we had a sort of quiet day at home after I had done my hour in the gym and Joan had done her early morning sea aerobics session. The day was actually a bit cooler with some clouds coming over, but the humidity level still remains high.

We had booked a table for two at The Mandarin, used to be The Red Lion pub but now extansively altered to create an Oriental restaurant with Thai, Chinese and Sushi being served.

DAVID, MINE HOST BEHIND HIS BAR. HE ALSO OWNS "WINES OF THE WORLD" SO WE ARE KNOWN AS REGULAR CUSTOMERS.

We had a lovely meal and a very pleasant evening. David kindly gave us a complimentary bottle of bubbly to help celebrate and took a couple of pics for us to put in our collection and on this site. For those of you who like Oriental food this place is highly recommended and very easy to find. It is down the road that leads to the Denizkisi Hotel.

Take a look at that lovely food, one beef dish and one fish dish complimented by egg fried rice and of course that bubbly.
